I'm Laura Walking Eagle

 

And I'm so glad you're here! I'm a family and portrait photographer serving North County San Diego, including Carlsbad, Oceanside, Encinitas, and the surrounding communities. I'm passionate about creating honest, joy-filled images that feel as meaningful years from now as they do today. My approach is relaxed and connection-focused, blending natural moments with gentle guidance so your photos feel authentic, timeless, and unmistakably you.


When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me with my husband and our three boys—usually cheering my boys on the sidelines of a sports field, exploring the beach, or chasing another family adventure. Being a wife and mama shapes the way I photograph because I know firsthand how quickly these seasons pass. My goal is to create images that help families remember not just what life looked like, but what it felt like.
