Before we were blessed to have our little guy, Tucker, people would tell us that you never know love until you have a child. Always in my head knew it must be true, but every day that he has been in our lives that love just grows more and more, and now I can truly understand what they meant.

And for that reason, now one of my favorite things to shoot is a family with their newborn. Believe me, I love the posed shots of babies… all bundled and posed perfectly with little hats and blankets and baskets. But really it warms my heart to document a husband and wife experiencing their little one. The new skin, fingers, toes, little mouth, and little body wrapped in his mommy and daddy’s arms as they just be with him and enjoy the newness of this life they created.

Little Grayson, you are perfect! You are so sweet and have the sweetest parents loving you! Thank you Laurie and Tim for allowing me into this special time to capture these memories. Enjoy every second, as they always say (and now we know too!) it goes all too fast 😉
