Tucker’s Wrightsville Beach Photo Shoot

How could we leave one of our most favorite places on earth without taking a few photos of our handsome son, Tucker! Years ago I (Tucker’s dad) was crawling on that same beach and it’s so awesome to see our son doing the same. These photos will hold us over until the next time we get to visit family and friends and the great city of Wrightsville Beach.

Christian + Andrea // Engaged

Christian + Andrea make a trip out to California form Connecticut every year, but this year it was a little more special. They had just gotten engaged, and they knew Encinitas, their favorite place to vacation, would be the perfect spot for their engagement photos.

When Andrea contacted us to shoot an engagement session in Encinitas, we were beyond thrilled! Encinitas has so many pockets of perfect light and texture that creates the perfect backdrop for an e-session.

Christian + Andrea met at a Memorial Day BBQ 2 years ago. After chit-chatting, they realized they went to the same college and had mutual friends! They’ve talked every day since, and a few weeks ago, on a small private beach in Milford Connecticut, Andrea said “yes” and those talking days will be ensured to last a lifetime.

We are so happy for you two, and honored to capture these sweet moments during your engagement! Congratulations!!

Wedding // Josh + Lacey 7.26.14

It was a hot July afternoon that felt more like Hawaii than San Diego, but the high clouds offered the prettiest light at the Twin Oaks Garden Estate for Josh + Lacey’s wedding day.

Amidst family and friends, including Lacey’s beautiful bridesmaids all dressed in unique pink and pale dresses, Josh + Lacey said ‘I do’ under the Twin Oaks Garden Estate gazebo. Every detail had a personal touch, from their first dance serenade, to flowers created by a family friend. They danced the night away before being whisked off to their honeymoon in the Caribbean, where they welcomed back with them the newest member of their family, Turks, a sweet little friend for their dog, Honey.
