Wedding // Daniel + Cara

One of the best forms of compliments is referrals. So much of our work comes from word of mouth, so when a past bride (or mother of the bride in Cara’s case!) refers a friend/ sister/ daughter, we are just tickled!

We shot Daryl + Katy’s wedding wayyy back when we were baby photographers…and it was such an honor to be a part of another family celebration as Cara + Danny said ‘I do’ amidst family and friends on a perfect June evening. Daniel and Cara’s vows were some of the most touching vows – it’s more often than not that we are so focused on photographing that we aren’t fully present to listen to what is said during a ceremony. But these vows made us stop and admire the love they have for each other. These two are committed – to the good, bad, ugly, and beautiful. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and love as you begin your lives together! Thank you to the Karpinski family for inviting us again to join in the celebration!

Wedding // Jaypril + Melissa

It was a hot last day of May. While she got ready next to 3 of her closest friends, her mother, and aunt, Melissa was beaming with excitement and joy in anticipation of walking down the aisle to greet her soon-to-be husband. Throughout the entire ceremony, Melissa could not contain her joy and was the sweetest bride to watch just beam in the love of her husband and the moment.

Melissa and Jay – you two are so sweet and it was so fun to capture these moments!! We are beyond thrilled you chose us to document this day (Melissa and I were in the same first grade classroom!) and wish you the warmest congratulations and a lifetime of shared giddy moments like you shared today!

Engaged // Cindy + Danny

It was such a pleasure exploring Old Poway Park with Cindy & Danny – we can’t wait for their August wedding!

Wedding // Caleb + Carli

We met Caleb + Carli when we shot her sister’s wedding, and as always we love when we get to celebrate with a family a second time around. Caleb + Carli were two of the easiest to be around, let alone photograph, and were so sweet the whole day. Their love for each other and for their families was so apparent on their wedding day, they even served their guests dinner before they ate their own dinner! They truly are servants of each other and those around them. Every detail was carefully thought out and placed perfectly, from the books on the dessert table that were from her mother’s shop, pinecones as part of the centerpieces because Caleb + Carli love to be in the mountains and hike, and even Carli’s wedding ring was hand designed by Caleb (that she saw for the first time on her wedding day!). Such a special wedding to be a part of. Congratulations you two – here’s to many more years of servanthood and love shared!
